LNDC and RSL Host Manufacturing Sector Workshop on Tax Compliance

Lesotho National Development Corporation (LNDC) and Revenue Services Lesotho (RSL) today jointly hosted a workshop for the manufacturing sector at Victory Hall, Mojalefa Lephole, focusing on improving tax compliance and fostering a better business environment for manufacturers.

The engagement addressed key issues affecting the sector, including:

  • Rules and services for paying taxes
  • Audit and refund processes
  • Using digital platforms for tax services
  • Customs regulations and export incentives
  • Market opportunities for local manufacturers

In her opening remarks, RSL Commissioner General Mrs. Mathabo Mokoko, reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to supporting the manufacturing industry, a vital driver of Lesotho’s economic growth. Speaking on behalf of the LNDC CEO, Mrs. Florence Motoa stressed LNDC’s dedication to enhancing the investment climate for manufacturers. She highlighted the corporation’s close collaboration with RSL and other stakeholders to promote compliance and create a conducive environment for investment and growth.

“It is our duty, as an investment promotion agency together with RSL, to ensure that we guide you through the compliance processes,” Mrs. Motoa stated.
